NIRVANA - rock intro to the topic of my next article / in ENGLISH language
Corporate rock sell-out
(Rock introduction to the topic of my next post)
NIRVANA
(Note: This is my comment on one specific detail about these
people, not the band's music criticism and I do not even want to be a rock
critic.)
More or less every rock group that becomes something big first
was born in the imagination of just one man, rarely two of them. One man is „that
with a vision“ who brings together other dreamers who have slightly different
musical dreams. The group then emerges so that they generally agree to adjust
their vision of the musical future to his vision, which begins to dominate. Do
not believe in those naive stories "about democracy in our band and how we
all equally agree about the songs". Even in democracy there is always one
elected as a leader, and if there is no boss who decides at the end of the day,
then it's probably a group of equally talentless artists who look for
inspiration and quality they are lack of in other people. Kurt Cobain was the
leader who brought together Nirvana in Seattle in the northwest of the USA and
managed to realize his vision of the rock band. After that his own success had
destroyed him as he was not able to deal with all the challenges, vices and
addictions that brought him the glory of his vision. In the year of the
greatest breakthrough to the stardom 1991, he opened the first great Nirvana
concert in his city with a prophetic announcement to the audience: Hello, we
are corporate rock sell-outs.
Dear readers, no matter how some people are famous in your eyes for
their unique originality and the power of free spirit, in the end they are just
ordinary human beings with all the weaknesses that you have too. If Kurt Cobain
had admitted that, the man who would write many excellent and uncompromising
songs if he did not pass away too early and the man who often talked about the
freedom of the punk and his desire to remain free and independent, then I express
my respect to the opus of that punker, and with his words I call my first blog.
The final question. You already know all about them and if
Nirvana was a capitalist corporation, Nirvana would be…
